Sabudana Khichdi

A dish of choice during fasting traditions, the Sabudana Khichdi is popular especially in Western India. Here’s a quick recipe from Om Café.

Made with soaked sabudana (sago) which is pure carbohydrate, the crushed peanuts add to the protein content of this wholesome fasting recipe. The potatoes and light spices make it perfect for a light meal or tiffin dish.
